Terms of Service
Last updated: September 2026
1. Who operates Mow Macho
REAL DIGITAL SOLUTIONS LLC, a Delaware limited liability company, operates the Mow Macho platform (“Mow Macho,” “we,” “us”). Mow Macho is a marketplace platform that connects homeowners (“customers”) with independent lawn, yard, cleanup, and outdoor-labor workers and companies (“providers”). We are a marketplace, not a landscaping company — we do not perform the services ourselves, and providers are independent contractors or independent businesses, not our employees. See our Provider Agreement for the specific terms that govern a provider's use of Mow Macho.
2. Accounts
You must create an account to request or offer services. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
3. Job requests, scheduling, cancellation, and no-shows
A customer requests a specific provider directly from that provider's profile, subject to our Customer Booking Terms. The provider may accept or decline. After accepting, the provider sets the appointment time — providers control their own schedules, and Mow Macho never assigns work or dictates when a provider must work. A customer's requested date is a preference, not a commitment, until the provider confirms a time.
Either party may cancel a job any time before the provider marks it “in progress.” No cancellation is charged today — payment is only collected when a job is completed, so there is nothing to refund for a pre-work cancellation. Cancellations are, however, recorded: a cancellation made less than the window stated in our Cancellation/Refund Policy before a confirmed appointment is recorded as a late cancellation and counts toward that party's record on the platform. A job with no confirmed time yet can never be late. If a customer cancels after reporting that their provider did not show up, that cancellation is never treated as late.
Once the appointment time has passed, either party may report that the other did not show up. A no-show report notifies the other party, is visible to both, and counts toward that party's record. Only report a genuine no-show.
Once work has started, a job can no longer be cancelled through the app; if something goes wrong after work has started, the customer may dispute the completed job (see Section 6) rather than cancel it.
4. Pricing and payment
Providers set their own prices — as a flat rate, an hourly rate, or an estimate shown on their profile as a guide. Regardless of that displayed figure, the amount you're actually charged is always set the same way: once work is complete, the provider proposes a final price for that specific job, and the customer must explicitly approve that exact amount before any charge occurs. Payments are processed by Stripe, our third-party payment processor — we never store your full card number. Mow Macho retains a platform fee (currently 10%) from each completed, paid job; the remainder is paid out to the provider. See our Cancellation/Refund Policy for exactly how charges and refunds work.
5. Reviews and conduct
Customers may leave one review per completed job. Reviews must reflect a genuine, first-hand experience with that specific job — see our Review Policy for the rules that govern reviews and what we do about manipulated or fake ones. We may remove content that violates these terms, is abusive, or is fraudulent. Messages sent through the platform's job chat may be automatically translated between English and Spanish using a third-party translation service (see our Privacy Policy) — the original message is always the authoritative version.
6. Disputes
If a customer isn't satisfied with completed work, they may dispute it instead of confirming. A Mow Macho admin reviews disputes and determines a resolution — which may include a refund, issued separately through Stripe. We aim to resolve disputes promptly, but do not guarantee a specific timeline.
7. Independent contractor relationship
Providers are independent — not employees, agents, or partners of Mow Macho. We do not direct, supervise, or control how a provider performs their work, what tools or methods they use, or their schedule. Providers are responsible for their own tools, insurance, licensing, permits, and tax obligations as applicable to their business. See our Provider Agreement for the complete terms a provider agrees to.
8. Community standards, copyright, and prohibited conduct
Our Community & Safety Standards describe the conduct we expect from everyone on the platform and what we do about a report of a safety issue. Our Copyright/DMCA Policy explains how to report copyright infringement and how we respond.
9. Limitation of liability
Mow Macho provides the platform “as is.” We are not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of services performed by providers, or for any damages arising from a job between a customer and provider, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we make a material change to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, or our Provider Agreement, we require you to accept the updated version the next time you sign in and use your customer or provider account before you can continue — you cannot bypass this by simply browsing. For any other, non-material change, continued use of Mow Macho after the change means you accept the updated terms.
